Kings Acre Gallery is a contemporary art and craft space in the grounds of our Edwardian house. Close to historic Camelford, Tintagel and Boscastle, this semi-rural setting boasts wonderful views across Cornwall and towards the north and south coasts. This former cottage, with two main galleries, opens onto a private terrace that has been created for the display of sculpture and 3d work. Newly opened in January 2012, an exciting programme of work is planned for Gallery 1. Gallery 1 will show solo and group exhibitions at various points throughout the year. Gallery 2 specialises in showing small prints, hand-made and altered books, glass, paintings, jewellery, mosaic, cards, sculpture, all produced individually by local artists. The galleries are run by printmaker Lynda Powney who is assembling a unique collection of contemporary work. You will receive a warm welcome, so please, call in.
